Once every few years a project comes along that catches our imagination as something that is worthy of special attention because of the uniqueness or importance as a community facility. This playground is just such a facility.
This is a quotable quote - why? Recently John Murphy, MP quoted the judges of Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia engineering excellence awards in Parliament. What is it that is catching our imagination? It's a world without boundaries, where kids play side by side, regardless of their ability. It's play that wheelchair bound parents can participate in. It's a place that everyone can feel safe and happy in.
